How We Create Our Content
Who writes our articles
Every article in the Gateway Finance Knowledge Centre is produced by the Gateway Finance team. Our content draws on the day-to-day experience of our brokers, who work with clients across New South Wales and Queensland on home loans, refinancing, investment lending, construction finance, car loans, business loans and asset finance.
Articles are reviewed by licensed credit representatives before publication to check that the information is accurate, current and consistent with Australian lending regulation at the time of writing.
Our credentials
Gateway Finance Pty Ltd holds Australian Credit Licence 518395 (ABN 43 608 990 834) and is a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) and the Finance Brokers Association of Australasia (FBAA). These credentials mean our brokers are subject to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, Best Interests Duty obligations, and the complaint-resolution and continuing-education standards of our industry bodies.
You can read more about our credentials on our About page.
General information, not personal advice
Everything published in the Knowledge Centre is general information only. It is not personal credit advice, and it does not take into account your individual financial situation, objectives or needs. Before acting on anything you read here, consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances and speak to a licensed credit representative who can assess your specific situation.
How we keep articles current
Lending policies, interest rates and government schemes change frequently. Our articles carry a published date and, where a page has been updated, a last-updated date so you can see when the content was last reviewed.
We periodically review published articles to check that the information remains accurate and relevant. Where a topic is time-sensitive, such as interest rate commentary, we maintain the article as an ongoing resource rather than a one-off prediction.
